If you have the desire to draw, if you really want to draw, you can! It is the same as learning to print, then learning to write. At school, it should have progressed on to learning to draw. It's the same process. Printing and writing are unique to you. None of us print and write exactly the same way. This goes for drawing too. Each artist has their own style.

There are many people who pickup cartoon drawing just to have some fun in their spare time but get hooked later on. This shows the fact that cartoon drawing is really a hobby that can get people easily attracted. But most of the time the guys and gals those who take up the art without much per-planning fail to make much advancement. And this is quite understandable.

Taking this art for fun is not the issue here but the casual attitude is the reason behind it. To be good at cartooning you have to be ready to do some hard work. That is you would need to do some serious and methodical practice work to be perfect.

Though if you really love cartooning it would not be that difficult for you. And after some efforts your work will be something that you yourself will start enjoying.

Simple Tattoo Drawing

If you are tempted to do your own tattoo drawings then all you need to do is look on the Internet. There are many websites that will walk you through each step of the design process. Whether it's a tribal design, eagle design, or your very own unique design there are many great examples to choose from and to get inspiration from.

I recommend that you start off by practicing to draw easy and simple tattoos and work your way up to the more difficult and intricate designs. It is always easier to come up with ideas for your tattoo drawings when you have an idea in mind so make sure you look at plenty of different templates before you get started. Focusing on one niche of templates to begin with would also be a great idea as this will allow you to get better and better at doing your own designs. There are also websites where you can watch video's of designers so you can see where they started and how they got to the completed design. This is great if you are a more visual artist and need some inspiration.

A great way to start your design is to just doodle until you begin to get something that you like, then do an outline of it, and add some more detail. If you are doing more than just pencil sketching you can also add some color at this point to really give your tattoo drawings some life.

The first point I would like to make about this subject is that drawing people in my mind is really about drawing figures, whole people, legs, arms and bodies as well as faces or heads. I would not consider just faces on there own to be drawing people I think of them as portraits but to be honest the rules are the same for all drawings be it cars, bicycles, dogs or cats the same basic rules apply.

Doing drawings of people or rather drawing figures is just like every other type of drawing that you will ever attempt to do because as with all other drawing it is about getting the construction right, it is about getting everything in proportion to everything else.
